R.I.P. GOP

Mitch McConnell is not a smart person, indeed he may be the dumbest one in the highest position of power in Washington. So it is altogether fitting that today, with his inane proposal on the debt ceiling, that he should ring down the curtain on the GOP as a national force in politics. T'was a day long in the making.
